Background: Iron deficiency anaemia (IDA) is a major public health concern affecting women of
reproductive age globally. If left untreated, it can cause various health issues including fatigue, shortness
of breath, abnormal heart rhythms, chest pain, and complications during pregnancy.
Objectives: To evaluate the efficacy of individualised homoeopathic remedy in treating iron deficiency
anaemia in women aged 15-49 years.
Results: Of 25 screened patients, 10 were included after their consent and intervened. There have been
significant increase in Hb%, MCV, MCH and SF values.
Conclusion: In this research, 10 reproductive aged women suffering from iron deficiency anaemia
showed significant improvements with increase in HB%, MCV, MCH and SF were seen.
