Abstract

Biogenic nanoparticles of medicinal plants are an emerging alternative action against multidrug-
resistant (MDR) bacteria. Boerhavia diffusa, a well-known ethnomedicinal plant, with high phenolic and
flavonoid contents, offers an effective reducing and stabilizing agent in the green synthesis of silver
nanoparticles (AgNPs). In this study, B. diffusa ethanolic extract was used to synthesize AgNPs, and they
were characterized to prove the stability and nanoscale properties.
